Joss Ash in action at last year's Bude Surf ClassicSurfers are sharpening their skills for the eagerly awaited return of the Bude Surf Classic, run by Christian Surfers UK in conjunction with Surfspot.

The event will be held on the weekend of 10-11 May at Widemouth Bay, North Cornwall.

Due to the popularity of the event, entries have had to be limited and places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Entry forms are available from local surf shops or can be down loaded from the Bude Surf Spot Website www.surfspot.co.uk, or at Christian Surfers Website www.christiansurfers.co.uk

The winner of the Men’s Open Division will receive £200 cash, the winner of the Longboard Division will receive £100 cash and all Categories will receive trophies and great prizes.

As well as the surf contest the event will also be supporting the work of Surf Relief UK, by holding a raffle throughout the day, and some one-to-one coaching will take place for some special needs youngsters.

Christian Surfers UK provides the manpower for the event continuing the successful partnership with the Bude Community.

Christian Surfers UK is involved with four major surf contests – the next being the Jesus Surf Classic at Croyde Bay from 13-14 September.
