Skern Lodge
Skern Lodge provides a range of development training programmes, events and activities, suitable for people of all ages and abilities.The business has been established since 1976 and has achieved fantastic results working with a wide variety of companies, organisations, schools and individuals. Groups, families and individuals are all welcome for half-day or full-day sessions or residential weekends and week stays.
We are located near to the beautiful fishing village of Appledore, near Bideford in North Devon, surrounded by rural farm land and are situated on one of Britain’s finest surfing coastlines.
Doing what you know you shouldn't. Stepping backwards off the top of a cliff!
You will of course have all the gear, a safety rope and the assistance of a trained instructor, so you will not need to worry about safety. What you will experience is a great sense of personal achievement.
Once mastered, Abseiling can open doors to a whole range of other rope based activities including rock climbing and our high ropes challenge.
We have facilities for abseiling on our site or occasionally, we take groups off-site around North Devon.
